Jessica Britt serves as the Controls and Simulation Engineer for the Advanced Vehicle Technology Competitions (AVTC) at Argonne National Laboratory. She is responsible for managing competition activities related to modeling, simulation testing, controls, and HMI/UX. Jessica attended Georgia Tech and earned her Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering with Highest Honors in 2017; in 2018, she earned her Master's Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a focus on Control Systems. While at Georgia Tech, Jessica participated in all four years of the EcoCAR 3 competition. Over the course of the competition, Jessica served in many leadership roles including: Modeling, Simulation, and Controls (CSMS) Team Lead, Systems Safety Manager, and Project Management Team Lead; she was also a team member of the electrical subteam and communications subteam. Jessica participated in the beginning stages of the EcoCAR Mobility Challenge by serving in an advisory role to new team leads at Georgia Tech.
